Coventry University Students’ Union is a charity dedicated to improving the experience of students at the Coventry University Group, operating across 7 campuses in Coventry, London, and Scarborough.

If you are a student at Coventry University, based at our Coventry Campuses and are looking for part-time work alongside your studies, then the Students' Union is looking to recruit Students' Union Assistants!

Join our Students’ Union team and play a vital role in delivering an outstanding experience for students, staff, and visitors. As a Students’ Union Assistant, you will be the first point of contact for enquiries across a range of channels, including face-to-face, telephone, email, and live chat, providing friendly, professional, and knowledgeable support. You will contribute to the smooth day-to-day running of the Students’ Union through customer service, administration, record keeping, and the effective handling of resources, deliveries, and systems.

The role also includes supporting the Students’ Union Advice Service through an important triage function. You will assess students’ initial support needs, provide confidential information and guidance, identify and escalate safeguarding or welfare concerns, and help students access appropriate advice and support services. Working with sensitivity and professionalism, you will maintain accurate records, process data in line with GDPR requirements, and help raise awareness of support services through outreach and information initiatives. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is approachable, organised, and passionate about supporting student wellbeing and success.

Coventry University Students’ Union’s values are to be helpful, inclusive and ethical and these are reflected in our progressive and people focused rewards and benefits.
